If you are the user of Instagram and loves to posting, creating stories, and do chats then you want to know about this article. Instagram has rolled out a new feature called “Music Sticker” that will allow users to add soundtracks to their Stories. Facebook-owned platform “Instagram” made this announcement via blog post and company also noticed that there are 400 million users of Instagram stories every day.
How does it work?
1- To add music to their stories users have to select the music icon located under stickers.
2- When selected, users will be given a choice to add a specific song to their Story. The users can search and select a specific song depending upon the story or what is popular, and preview listens by tapping the ‘Play’ icon right next to it.
3- After selecting a song, users can even fast-forward or rewind through the track to choose the correct part that fits the Story. When people are watching their stories, they will listen to the song playing as they are viewing a photo or video. They will also see a sticker screening the song title and artist name. Users can also add GIFs and hashtags to their stories.
IOS users presently have an option to select a song before capturing a video. To add a song to the story before adding the video, users can open the camera and swipe to the new “Music” option located under the record button. Users can search for the song, select the exact part that they want to be in their stories, and then record a video as the song plays in the background.
This new music feature by Instagram is now available as a part of Instagram version 51 in select countries. Currently, the ability to choose music before capturing a video is available on iOS only, and Android users will have to wait for some time for this feature to appear on their devices.
